I’m not entirely sure where the time went this month. I was working on a game review for Atelier, and I suppose I’ve been busy getting into the new anime / drama seasons. I definitely got reading done, but in bursts here and there as opposed to as diligently as I usually do. Still, let’s see what I read through the month of April!

Feels good to have myself a little bit back on track with light novel reading. That’s not the most I’ve read this year, but it is an improvement on February and March. I was up until 2am finishing off that volume of Agents of the Four Seasons, but it was so worth it. Even if I am now emotionally spent for the next six to twelve months.
I guess a lot of what I’ve read this month overall was just my regular serialisations, some select favourites and things to review for work… eventually… I was really sad that Shoshimin came to a conclusion already since it only covered the events of the first season of anime, and I really loved Anri Sagawa’s work on it. I also discovered that ワークスイートバランス is finished in the next volume, which I really think is just going to end up having a rushed conclusion.
I did also start Tower Dungeon after a million years of it being recommended heavily everywhere. Look, don’t judge me. I am someone who read all of Aposimz and I think we can all agree that was absolutely terrible in the end. So scepticism of his new work was valid! But I did really enjoy the first volume, so I will definitely be back for more in due course. But we’re not thinking, speaking or writing of buying new books right now since this month I got in a large batch of books, and the backlog is crying. We’ll not speak of the fact I just paid for my April pre-orders. Nope.
