So that’s 68 manga down from 78, 5 light novels which is the same as last month and 23 one-shots compared to 34. Not a huge difference all told. I’m most of the way through finishing a volume of Secrets of the Silent Witch, and I’m Villainess, So I’m Taming the Final Boss, so that’s another couple of light novels. I just got waylaid since I swapped between them in a bit to finish before a book club meeting.

You know, I need someone to solve a mystery for me as to why, even though I finish a lot of series, my total amount marked reading on Anime-Planet never seems to go down? I know I start a lot of new series too, pulled in by the new and shiny, but you’d think at some point I’d be bringing it down, not going up. Maybe once the busy season is finished at work, I will make another dedicated push to finish off lingering series…

Also, looking at this shows me how few reviews I’ve been doing this month, which I guess will improve in September when things calm down. Oh right and my backlog increased again rather than going down, but that’s a future me problem to deal with too.
