Already time for the May reading log. The more the months go by the more I don’t see the backlog ever going down, so I’ve somewhat stopped worrying about it. My Anime-Planet did pass 1,000 manga / LNs marked ‘reading’ so now I’m trying to put my efforts into finishing stuff off and getting that down. It’s fairly motivating to watch until it goes up several times more when new serialisations start. Anyway here’s what I’ve been reading:
March has been a pretty busy month, between my birthday and a weekend trip away as well as work starting to get busier there hasn’t been as much time for reading. Still, I think I’ve made a decent go at my backlog all the same – even if I did buy a lot of books this month. Let’s see what I read!
April reading log time! As always, doesn’t feel like I’ve read as much as I could or should have done to make any dent in the backlog, but let’s take a look all the same.
We’re at the end of February, already! A quiet month for me all told, but some exciting stuff coming up in March. With that said let’s jump into what I’ve been reading this month.

First reading log of the year! Time to see if I’ve gotten 2024 off to a good start or not. I’ve been doing well with my gaming habits since I’ve finished 3 games already, but that may have meant less reading time overall…
Final reading log of 2023! This one gives me an excuse to share shiny charts, charts which completely embarrass me I must say as the backlog has only increased tenfold this year. Still, let’s check out what I read this month first:

Christmas looms and it has already snowed before we even hit December 1st. The year has rapidly run away, not helped by this month being busy with Scotland Love’s Anime and then being ill two weeks before and after. Still, I got some reading done so let’s see what I’ve been up to this month!
As a reminder I’ve scrapped writing out Japanese titles in romaji and am instead just including the kanji to aid in searchability. Likewise, if a title has been released in both Japanese and English, I’m including the English even if I read it in JP just to help with people being able to recognise them.

Spooky season is here, well, at least at the time of writing. Perhaps not by the time you read this! I spent a lot of time either under the weather or busy this month so I can’t imagine I’ve read that much compared to usual, but let’s take a look.
